February
the Month of the Passion of Our Lord

Music at Mass - 5th Sunday p.a.

Mass setting: Collegium Regale - Herbert Howells
At the Communion: Andante, 4th Trio Sonata - J.S. Bach
Anthem: Like as the Hart desireth the water brooks - Herbert Howells
Voluntary: Toccata - Theodore Dubois

Today, there will be congregational music practice after the Creed. There will be no homily today.

There will be a
Traidcraft Stall after the Parish Mass.

Mothers' Union: There is a Prayer Hour from 11.00 a.m. to 12 noon at St Paul's Cathedral this Thursday. Please remember to wear your badge.

Social and Fundraising dates from April to June are now available and a list of the full year's events is on the notice board in the Hall.

We will be holding occasional
Mini Markets again during 2012 and the first one will be held on Sunday 19 February in aid of funds for the Sunday Schools. We would specifically like to buy some folding tables suitable for Sunday Tots.

Please make a note that our next social event will be a
Pancake Party on Shrove Tuesday (21 February).

Sunday Schools: We are in need of adults to help on a regular basis with Sunday Club (3 to 7 year olds) and Early Church (7 years upwards). We are so lucky to have growing numbers of children attending our Sunday School groups but, of course, this means that we need a greater commitment from the congregation. Please think about whether you could offer yourself as a teacher or a helper.

If you normally provide material for the
Annual Review, could you please let Fr Christopher have this by Sunday 11 March at the latest, preferably by e-mail.

French Circle: There will be a social get-together of the French Circle on Friday 23 March at the Atkinson's. Many thanks to Sally and Barry for offering to host this.

Could all those working on the
Church History please let Fr Christopher have the results of their research (if they haven't already done so) by the end of July. The plan is to publish the History on 7 October (when we will celebrate the anniversary of the Dedication of the Parish).
