The Children’s Society: If you have a Children’s Society Box, could you please return it to Cathy as soon as possible so that she can send off a cheque to the Society. Johanna Ryan has some tomato plants (in fruit) which she is selling for £6 each which will go to the Children’s Society
Mothers’ Union Project: Cathy thanks those who continue to supply items for the emergency toilet bags for Whittington Hospital. There is a special need at the moment for toilet bags, combs and toothpaste.
The next meeting of the French Circle will be on Friday 8 August in the Hall.
Walsingham Weekend – 17 to 19 October: If you would like to go on the Parish Walsingham Weekend, please put your name on the list in the Hall and let Sue Windridge have your £10.00 deposit (cash or cheques made payable to WCTA Limited please). We have to provide a list by 8 August, so please sign up as soon as possible. The price this year is £89.30.
Sunday Club: Sunday Club and Early Church are now having a summer break and will re-commence on Sunday 14 September. It would be good to have some more helpers for Sunday Club – this doesn’t involve any teaching, but will ease the load of the current Sunday Club Teachers. If you are interested, could you put your name on the list in the Hall.
