the Month of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary


Evening services will resume on Sunday 12 September.

Next Sunday, Fr Malcolm Gray will be celebrating the Parish Mass as Fr Christopher and Fr Richard will be away for the weekend with the French Circle. Please welcome Fr Gray in the usual way. There will be no 8.00 a.m. mass on that day.

The
Enfield Deanery of the Mothers' Union is planning a "Day Apart" on Wednesday this week at Oak Hill Theological College. The cost is £16.00 (lunch included) and there are more details in the latest magazine.

There will be a meeting of
Sunday School Leaders on Tuesday 7 September at 7.30 p.m. in the Hall to discuss plans for the remainder of the year.

Please note that there is a
Mothers' Union Restaurant Outing on the evening of Friday 10 September at the Metro Piazza, Copthall, at 7.30 p.m. Please put your name on the list in the Hall if you are planning to come.

Our next Social Event will be a
Beetle Drive and Sausage & Mash Supper on Saturday 11 September at 7.30 p.m. The cost will be £5 per person (£3 for children). Please put your name on the list in the Hall if you are planning to come.

Also on 11 September, Beacon Lodge are holding their
Annual Garden Party from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. There will be a BBQ, music, bouncy castle, face painting and more...

The
Sunday Schools will begin again on Sunday 12 September.

The
Ministry to the Sick will be available after the Parish Mass on Sunday 12 September.

The
East Finchley Arts Festival runs this year from 2 to 10 October. Brochures are now available.

It is proposed to welcome 9 new members into the
All Saints' Branch of the Mothers' Union on Sunday 3 October. If anyone else is interested in being enrolled on that date, please speak to Jenny Daybell or Sheila Waring.
